She/Her | Registered dietitian
Food shouldn't feel like a battle. With me, sessions are grounded in genuine curiosity about you, your body, your culture, and your story, not judgment or a checklist to follow. As a weight-inclusive, evidence-based dietitian, I meet you exactly where you are, knowing the feelings behind food, body, and movement are often what's really driving the struggle. My goal isn't just peace with food, it's helping you get back to the life you actually want, whether that's time with family, trying something new, or simply feeling at home in your own body.
Food, body image, and movement can carry so much shame and guilt, and it's easy to feel like no one else really gets it. Confusion, fear, or a sense of losing control can make it hard to show up the way you want to, at social events, family meals, or just in everyday life. None of that means something is wrong with you, and none of it has to be figured out alone. This is a team effort, one that meets you exactly where you are, not where you think you should be, so you can find your way back into your life again.
Outside of sessions, I'm probably doing something active and joyful, whether that's a yoga class, dancing around my kitchen, or rollerblading around the neighborhood. I'm an enthusiastic home cook and baker, a self-proclaimed competitive board game player, and always up for live music or a farmers market. At home, I'm kept busy by my dog Olive (a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix) and six ducks, all certified escape artists who somehow keep finding their way into the neighbor's yard. Having recently moved to Colorado, I've been spending my free time exploring the state's hiking trails and soaking up as much nature as possible.
My path to dietetics started long before I knew what a dietitian was. Growing up, food was something I loved, baking with my mom and grandmother, but I also witnessed firsthand how complicated a person's relationship with food and body can become. That experience shaped my early interest in eating disorder work and my belief that healing is possible with the right support. I didn't discover dietetics until college, after switching out of a sociology major and falling unexpectedly in love with science (I still remember staying up late in my dorm room watching videos on glycolysis). That pull toward eating disorder work stayed with me throughout school, which is part of why I was drawn to Simmons University's MS-DI program, one of the few with a specialization in eating disorder treatment. I approach every client with the same curiosity that drew me to this field: I never assume, and I meet people exactly where they are. As a dietitian, I also value the chance to build real, lasting relationships with clients, the kind of ongoing, meaningful connection that isn't always possible in other areas of healthcare.
