Our clinic works with both adults and adolescents who struggle with eating disorders or disordered eating, in conjunction with other specialties.

We use an Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size™ approach, which is weight inclusive, compassionate, and ethical.

We provide support to client prescribed or considering GLP-1 medications (like Ozempic®, Wegovy®, or Mounjaro®) through a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach. Our dietitians help you stay nourished, manage appetite changes, and explore your relationship with food — without judgment or shame.

What insurance plans
do you accept?

NourishED Colorado is in network with Cigna, Cigna Localplus, Aetna, UMR, and United Healthcare for Nutrition Services and United/UMR for Therapy Services(with more pending).

Prior to your visit, please fill out our benefit check form provided to you, and call your insurance company to check your benefits. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card to inquire what your in network medical nutrition therapy or therapy benefits are.

For other insurances companies, we are out-of-network proviers which means we can provide you a superbill to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement. Payment is due at time of service for folks using out of network benefits.

How much do 
sessions cost?

NourishED Colorado session rates for both therapy and dietitian private pay clients are:
  • $200 for the initial session, and 
  • $165 for follow up sessions.

Insurance rates may vary from private pay rates depending on the insurance provider and your individual plan. We offer a limited number of sliding-scale slots for individuals experiencing financial hardship. We accept credit cards, debit cards, HSA, and FSA cards. We also have payment plan options available for long term clients as needed.

How does eating disorder
treatment work?

We work at an outpatient level of care for the treatment of eating disorders. An outpatient team consists of a dietitian, therapist, primary care physician and psychiatrist at minimum.

An outpatient team works collaboratively to ensure clients get the best care for their recovery while staying in their day to day life. Clients in eating disorder recovery being treated on the outpatient level will typically visit with their dietitians 1-2x/week, therapist 1-2x/week, PCP monthly, and psychiatrist as needed.

Do you work with children
and adolescents?

Dietitians and Therapists at NourishED Colorado work with adolescents ages 12 and up, and case by case for younger than 12 years old. When treating adolescents for an eating disorder, we typically use a modified family-based treatment approach, which involves treating the entire family. You can learn more about Family Based Treatment for eating disorders here.

We recognize a focus on intentional weight loss causes harm, does not improve health, and further invokes weight stigma and discrimination. What is intuitive Eating?

Intuitive Eating is a self-care eating framework that integrates instinct, emotion, and rational thought. Intuitive Eating allows for self compassion, curiosity and a gentle approach to food.
