Our Health At Every Size™ dietitian nutritionists practice from an intuitive eating and social justice lens. We believe that nourishment is far more than just what you eat, because you are more than just your body. At NourishED Colorado we are weight inclusive, LGBTQIA+ positive clinicians who are doing our anti-racism work. We stumble and fall - and when we know better, we do better.

Hi, I’m Kristin! My goal is to walk alongside you throughout your journey of healing your relationship with food and your body, and reconnecting with your authentic self. I know that everyone who finds themselves here has their own unique struggles and experiences, so I aim to stay curious and let you share your story in your own words. I believe that while recovery can be complex and messy, there is also space for hope.
As a clinician, I want our sessions together to be a space for whatever your recovery needs in that moment. Some days you may need to be challenging fear foods. Some days you just need to show up. We’ll navigate that together.
I am here to help you keep your “why” at the front and center as you challenge the societal norms of what wellness looks like, redefine what health means to you, and help you to live that out authentically and unapologetically.

In my free time you can find me on the hunt for the best cup of coffee in Denver (it’s harder to find than you’d think). I do love to be active and try to spend time in nature hiking and snowboarding, but I’m just as happy to curl up on the couch under a blanket watching one of my favorite comfort shows with my dog Indy, who you may get a sneak peek of if we meet virtually!

Hi, I’m Nick Parra! I'm passionately helping people learn how to be at peace with food and eat intuitively. I think that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy food without fear, judgment, or anxiety. My goal is to support you in any way you need on this journey of recovery, to help you where and when you want to be helped.
My hopes are that we can build an environment in session to talk about the ways we can help improve your relationship with your food, body, and activity. I will always practice from a body inclusive and food neutral place with empathy and understanding.
There is enough diet culture pressure out in the world; during recovery there should be a place to find safety. Life and food are complicated, but let’s not let it hold us back from living to our best selves!

I am a Texas native and someone who loves experiencing all life has to offer! You can catch me exploring the outdoors, building my grit as a rock climber, and paddle boarding and rollerblading in the park with my pup Pinto. I also love spending time with my partner and friends having board game nights, sitting down for lengthy co-op computer game sessions, and exploring new restaurants around town.

Hey, I'm Lilah! I love supporting my clients in healing their relationship with food and helping to shift towards a life where food is not controlling you. I understand the complexities of your struggles and meet you where you are in recovery. I believe recovery is possible for everyone, and I will be there to support you along the way, ensuring that every step brings you closer to reclaiming your vitality!
As a clinician, my goal is to provide a safe environment where you feel supported when opening up about your challenges. I use a compassionate, client-centered approach in my work. I believe that every human is different and there is no one-size-fits-all for eating disorders.
By implementing an individualized plan that focuses on what you want to work on, we can move towards a life where you can fully embrace your interests and find peace with food.

When I’m not working, you can find me outside!! I love hiking, roller blading, dancing, and skiing - also reasons why I love Colorado so much. I have a very cute kitty named Hazy who may make a guest appearance if we do virtual sessions! Most recently, I have gotten into creating pottery and learning to use a wheel. I really enjoy the slow, calm nature of working with clay and being creative!

Hi, I'm Bethany! I believe that learning to treat ourselves with kindness and compassion is an essential step to healing. We've all grown up in a culture that teaches us that being self-critical is how we are supposed to live. Through that thought process, we have become disconnected from our bodies. When learning intuitive eating, you are reconnecting with yourself - & I believe that we all have an ability to listen and honor our bodies in a way that makes sense to you.
As a queer & neurodivergent woman, I understand the complexities of living in a culture that teaches you that there is only one way to live. In our work, I will hold space for you and help you evolve into the person you want to be. I believe in honesty, compassion, and kindness. We are all humans with different lived experiences. What you have gone through is your story and I am not here to tell you otherwise. I am here to help you understand how your lived experiences have affected your relationship with food and your body. There are many reasons a person has a complicated relationship with food. I want to help you unpack that and understand how you can learn to show up for yourself.

I am a HUGE animal person. I am always excited to talk about animals and see pictures (please!). I have my own dog, Ethel. We love to bike ride and rollerskate together. When I am not thinking about animals you will find me rock climbing, socializing, and/or camping. Being outside helps bring me a sense of calmness and peace. I feel honored I get to live in a state that has so many things to do outside! I also enjoy sitting on the couch and enjoying a good TV show or movie. Especially if that TV show is Gilmore Girls.

Hi, I’m Alex! I believe in the power of sharing our stories, particularly the ones that center around food and our bodies. It’s my goal to make the space we share in sessions as safe as possible for you, knowing that these stories are often about more than the food itself (even if you don’t recognize that yet). I want to help you relearn how to pay attention to your body and give it the energy it needs to thrive.
I also believe in the power of a nourished body. It’s not just something that carries around our brains, but rather a wise, well-designed, information jackpot that we get really good at ignoring and minimizing due to the diet culture we are all living in.
As humans, we all have different lived experiences that inform what we understand to be true. I recognize that asking for help is hard and I honor the vulnerability you share with me. I promise to listen to you, to ask more questions to understand you more, and hold space for the inevitable discomfort that comes along with recovery. I hold a powerful, non-judgemental space to talk through what you need with gentleness, openness, and support.

When I’m away from the practice you can find me playing with my dogs and kids, reading all the young adult novels I can get my hands on, painting murals in my house, trying to score good deals on Poshmark, breathing in the fresh mountain air on hikes, and nurturing a colorful flower garden.

Hi, I’m Bri! Through my work, I recognize the importance of building meaningful relationships and trust. I value inclusivity and understand that each person comes from a different place. I appreciate our differences, and know that each unique journey has varying needs. However, I believe finding neutrality with food and body is something we are all capable of, and I want to share that with you.
Most importantly, I want to acknowledge that each person’s path is going to be different. I enjoy learning how clients see themselves taking steps toward a life in line with their personal values. You know yourself best, and I want to support you in finding a path toward freedom around food, body image, and movement that makes sense in your life.

I get strength from being in nature and it really is the only place I can truly recharge and refresh. I love hiking, camping, backpacking, and climbing 14ers (mountains above 14,000 feet). I’ve got a small dachshund named Fritz and he has climbed seven 14ers with me!! I am also so passionate about helping those who don’t always have as much help readily available to them. I am well aware of my privilege, and recognize that there is a lot of unfairness in the world. I want to do my part to help bring awareness to the disparities that are so prevalent in the world today, so that I can be a part of the movement toward change.

Hi, I’m Meg Fraley! I genuinely believe that no one’s experiences with their body, thoughts, and emotions are the same, so no one’s recovery will be the same. The work we do in sessions is tough, but I always try to help clients look for the positive even when they do not see it. Building off this energy and taking some time to enjoy the small steps will help us through this journey together.
My ultimate goal is to empower and support others to build a positive relationship with food that is equally as pleasurable as it is nourishing – for the mind, body, and soul. My approach with clients aims to bring the joy of eating back to the table.

Hi, I’m Carey! I am passionate about helping individuals make peace with food and their body by creating a safe environment for learning and discovery. My goal is to empower my clients to make choices based on body attunement, nourishment, and satisfaction. There are so many cultural messages that cause unnecessary suffering and interfere with our ability to trust our bodies. I hope to help individuals learn self-trust so that they can heal their relationship with food and their body.
I recognize that it takes a lot of courage and strength to engage in recovery and I am eager to support my clients on their journey. I focus on helping them develop compassionate self-awareness so they can get rid of the shame and guilt that often comes with disordered eating. This work can be tough, but the reward of being in recovery is worth it!

In my free time you can find me reading, listening to podcasts, taking walks with my dog, Otis, playing tennis or heading to the mountains with my family. I enjoy traveling and discovering the best food in the cities we stay in. I love to sew and quilt and have way too much fabric for my own good.

Hey, I'm Rose! As a clinician, I prioritize taking the time to genuinely connect with each individual, fostering an environment of safety, openness, and personalized care. I'm continually inspired by the dedication our clients show in their journey to recovery, and
I'm committed to offering support and holding hope as we explore what it means to live authentically according to one's values. While it's crucial to address and challenge unhelpful patterns, I strive to cultivate a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere; recovery is
challenging, and finding moments of joy along the way is incredibly valuable.
As a queer woman, I understand lived experience and intersections of recovery and that gender and sexuality can play a role, however, I understand that this shows up differently for each person and want to hold the space for us to discover what this means to you. Similarly, as a former collegiate athlete, I acknowledge that there is a
necessity for holding space in whatever might come up as we unravel what recovery looks like in relation to your personal journey with your sport. Maybe we figure out what recovery looks like while continuing to compete, maybe we see what that looks like as
we move away from the competition, or maybe we are on a journey to figuring out which direction you are wanting to go. Whatever the path looks like, together we will work towards building behaviors that are free of rigidity and full of flexibility, mindfulness, and acceptance.

When I am not in the office you can find me trying to catch every bit of sunlight that I can. I love to spend time outside whether I’m playing flag football, taking my dog, Violet, on a hike, rock climbing or just relaxing at the park with friends. I consider myself to be very extroverted, so as much as the world allows I try to either spend time with or talking to those that matter most in my life. I’m also always up for trying new foods and
listening to new music, so if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears!

“Nutritionist” isn’t a regulated term - meaning pretty much anyone can use it. Our clinicians are registered dietitian nutritionists, and we sometimes use the term "nutritionists" for those who are unsure of the difference. All of our dietitian nutritionists have all completed a degree, supervised practice, and the registered dietitian exam in order to provide you with the best care possible.
Yes, absolutely! Please indicate so when requesting an appointment or to our practice manager.
During a session with our dietitian nutritionists, we may explore your beliefs behind food, eating habits, and other aspects of your relationship with health (like exercise). We'll help create and adjust your nutrition care plan to meet your goals, and always aim to help you feel empowered in your care.
